about me
|
I'm Rhea Panela-Caoile (REE-ya pa-NEL-la cow-WEE-lee), a professional storyteller with more than three years of on-air TV experience as a news anchor/reporter and more than six years combined in print, digital and broadcast journalism. Most recently, I was a morning anchor at KTVZ in Bend, Oregon. I know how to shoot stories as a one-woman band, write my own scripts, edit videos, and produce/anchor newscasts.
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and I graduated from University of Washington in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and minors in English and diversity. My work has been published in The Seattle Times, the International Examiner and the Daily of the University of Washington. I also interned at KCTS 9 (now Cascade Public Media) and KIRO 7, Seattle's CBS station. Connecting with people is at the heart of what I do, and I look forward to sharing your story! |
