I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and minors in English and diversity.
I started my journalism career as a staff writer for The Daily of the University of Washington, the UW’s student-run newspaper, where I was the diversity beat reporter consecutively for Summer Quarter and Fall Quarter 2015.
I was also the digital media intern at the International Examiner in Seattle’s International District/Chinatown before moving up to the digital media editor position in the summer of 2016.
In the summer of 2016, I was also a digital content production intern for What’s Good 206 (now known as Spark Public), a media partner of Cascade Public Media along with KCTS9 and Crosscut.com.
Most recently, I was a news intern at KIRO 7 News, the CBS affiliate in Seattle.
